Release Notes The SP-013 firmware may be updated via the SmartSensor I2C connection (IF-001). The processor used supports building a complete load image in memory during update without overwriting the existing f/w so ‘brick’ issues should be minimal. General Remarks Version 2.6.0.0 replaces the current production release 1.8.0.0. New Features Version 2.6.0.0 Features Support for mixed mode operation on both SP-013 and SP-014 probes: 1 X Process + 1 X Digital pulse input on single device Support for SERVO outputs Support for Sensor Mapping to outputs 0 or 1. Process inputs now support 0-1.0 Vdc, 0-2.0 Vdc and 0-24 mA inputs Digital Pulse clock input (SIG 0) now supports comparator input (100 mV, 500 mV, 1.0 V and 2.0 V). Enhancements Automatically assigned sensor names are now sensor specific. In prior versions the default sensor names were SENSOR_0, SENSOR_1… SENSOR_3. The assigned sensor names will now reflect the type of sensor, for example ‘Pulse_Width’ or ‘Current’. The user may still assign specific names, such as ‘SERVER_TEMPERATURE’ by setting the lock bit. During power the Current Loop clamp transistors are engaged on all channels to minimize over voltage conditions on the internal circuitry.
