SP-003 Release Notes
The SP-003 firmware may be updated via the SmartSensor I2C interface cable (IF-001).
The processor used supports building a complete load image in memory during update without overwriting the existing
f/w so a full device recovery is possible should the update fail.

Support for Dewpoint calculations (SP-003-2)
Support for SERVO outputs (all models).
Support for Sensor Mapping to outputs 0 or 1. (all models).

Supports ‘Apparent Heat’ (Humidex and Heat Index)

Enhancements
Automatically assigned sensor names are now sensor specific. In prior versions the default sensor names were
SENSOR_0, SENSOR_1… SENSOR_3. The assigned sensor names will now reflect the type of sensor, for example
‘Dewpoint’, ‘Temperature’, Humidity’. The user may still assign specific names, such as ‘SERVER_TEMPERATURE’
by setting the lock bit.
